Utah Couple Poisoned Themselves And Their Children Out Of ‘Fear Of The Apocalpyse’ (VIDEO)

Police say Kristi and Benjamin Strack, along with their three children, died of a lethal combination of drugs. Cups containing ‘red liquid’ were found next to each of the bodies. A sand bucket near where the bodies were found appears to have been used to mix the deadly concoction.

The bodies of Kristi and Benjamin Strack, along with 11-year-old Zion, 12-year-old Emery, and 14-year-old Benson were discovered by the children’s grandmother, Valerie Sudweek, on September 27. All five family members were found in a locked bedroom. They were lying in one bed, with the blankets tucked around Kristi Strack and the children. Police say that Benjamin Strack most likely died last, as he was the only member of the family not under the blankets.

So..the fear that the end of the world is near, that is postulated by current Christian leaders, does not cause death? It is terrible what some terrorist organizations are doing in the name of religion but even more subversive is what is taught in the name of Christianity. Terrorists are "upfront" with their killing but the dying and killing done in the name of Christianity is just as evil. Fear seems to be the tool of most, but not all, religions and the evangelists who teach this fear along with bigotry are never held accountable. The parents in this case probably had mental issues. When you instill fear into a person who is mentally ill the recipe for disaster is just one ingredient away. That ingredient is the choice of how to die. The children are the innocent victims in this case and always in the case of fear mongering adults.

Of course "some" will say religion has nothing to do with it. I simply ask. Which religions teach that the Apocalypse is coming?

Even if the misguided people claim they are speaking in the name of religion, it is not the religion I practice. The decision to kill your family members is a human decision, a very wrong human decision.

5 more victims of the insane military industrial complex and their ugly lies, poisonous minds and deadly behaviors. Cannot we rid the earth of this scourge, soon before these anti-humans destroy this beautiful earth and all it's life!?

mostly protestant, and 7th day adventists around me.

They frighten me, and I cant wait to get away from them. They seem angry that the end has not arrived.

I wish it would. For them. I would wave them on up, take care of their animals.

They are not bad people. They are people who want to do the right thing, and they have latched on to a faith that makes them feel important and a cut above the rest.

In order to keep feeling special, they have to feed at the trough of Armageddon.

Whatever, but you sometimes get the feeling they are just biding their time and they are really bored. Maybe some of them are running out of resources.

Very sad for this family, and any family who planned to be raptured by now.

there are many folks who subscribe to this crap in Utah. There are Survivalist Stores in many of the bigger towns, and they cater to the End Timers. Warren Jeffs had thousands lined up in their Sunday Finest on New Years Eve 2000 for the big Mormon Rapture to their Celestial Homes(Stars).
