The Koch's Will Likely Try To Buy Presidency For Scott Walker.

Looks like Scott Walker is the Koch's favorite son. They will do all they can to protect him and advance him to the White House.

Between Romney and Bush, he doesn't have a chance in actual real primaries where real people vote. He's a teabagger, and teabagger's aren't going to be winning the Presidency. Ain't happening.

It's a pity that they can do that legally. However, there aren't enough teabaggers to get anyone nominated for President. Not nearly. And Scut Farkas Walker is a teabagger. The front-runners aren't even participating in the teabagger events. And they're not going to. I'm more worried about Bush and Romney, to tell you the truth.

The Koch's can waste their money, as far as I'm concerned. I hope they do, during the primaries. That's what I hope. Let them exhaust their funds there.

I'm not saying that the right hasn't tried to surpress votes...but we need more info than someone just saying that this happened. I'm a Dem and I voted. You? I know lots of Dems who all voted without a problem.

as they are wont to do during mid-terms-- a trend that has been almost constant (just 3 exceptions) since 1910.

And for the record, Arkansas, which had been a heavily Democratic state at one time, saw a much higher than normal voter turnout in this last election-- and yet, the Democrats took the worst beating they have ever had in the state since Reconstruction.

about midterm elections.

Republicans are willing to hold their noses and vote no matter what. Why aren't we willing to do that? These old, angry racists would walk through fire over broken glass to cast their vote for Republican candidates.

Until we have a base that is equally devoted we will continue to get shellacked in non-Presidential years.

People at DU love to blame voters, especially Democratic voters, and even more especially progressive Democratic voters. Instead of trying to understand why people stayed home, they just insult them. We shall see how well that works in 2016.

One of Obama's gifts in 2008, and somewhat in 2012, was to give people something TO VOTE FOR. To INSPIRE them. All I saw in 2010 and 2014 was a concerted effort to avoid giving people something TO VOTE FOR. Telling people that you are the lesser evil, that you are just like the Republicans except not crazy, doesn't work. Making them believe in you does. I may wish that he had stuck more closely to his campaign rhetoric but that is a separate issue.

Republicans are devoted because their party generally doesn't go around lambasting them. They throw them red meat rhetoric and double down.

But my main point is that in 2010 and 2014, Democrats allowed the Republicans to set the memes, set the agendas, and set the fears. They did not fight back sufficiently against the EBOLA/ISIS/BAD ECONOMY/Illegals fear mongering that was going on 24/7. THey seemed content to think that people would vote for them if only they could run a few more negative ads. All I see coming out from negative ads are repubs remaining enraged and democrats/independents becoming disillusioned with both candidates and staying home. Republican voters are fueled by hate to a larger degree than other groups. Inspired people will walk through fire to vote. But they have to be inspired.

It can make charismaless clowns like Romney and Walker look competitive.

It can nearly buy a Bush a victory over a Gore or a Kerry, but it can't quite defeat an Obama or a Clinton.

Dennis Miller's show. He just luvs him some Walker.

Do not underestimate Walker. The Koch's know he can be depended on to do their bidding, no matter what the outcry, and to do the dirty work to keep his opponents out of power. Think Nixon with big money backers.

Honestly, the GOP field is wide open, and if JEB cannot scare everyone away, then the nomination could go to a 'washington outsider'. And we have just seen how the RW can call on the media to coordinate a vast propaganda effort on behalf of their candidates.

Sad as that is he's going nowhere. He looks cross eyed. I don't want to be shallow and didn't even really want to post this. It is not the reason he should not be the President. (there are so many good ones!) But that is what the underlying feeling will be, though no one will want to talk about it. So I wanted to bring it up here to watch. It will be the real underlying reason he doesn't resonate.

Face it. We live in a society where people are supposed to look like celebrities. People here die trying to get there. Surgery, starvation, etc. The President of the United States is number ONE. Our shallow society will not like way Walker 'looks'. (no pun)

Now, after they troll this post, will the Koch's researchers move on from this possible thought?

He's just a click away from the male Sarah Palin, speaking in cliches and sound bites, but he does have a small group of rabid followers here in Wisconsin. Mainly racists and bigots who want to have someone who speaks for them. The sort that are attracted to the Klan.

Watched my home state go from one of the most Progressive to something akin to Somali. Wisconsin and Kansas are the new model State Governments, and, with the Koch money funding the Brich Libertarian model people better get a grip. And Casino's are not going to save their butts, and you can not cut to save. Waiting to see any new data as to the pending catastrophe that has hit these states. From what we hear from the relatives in Wisconny,it is not pretty. For those less fortunate, persons with disabilities or health issues as well as unemployed, are getting crushed by service cuts and payment amounts being cut or being eliminated. Like I say, from first to worst.
