Chris Christie was down and out during a radio interview in Philly.
Never before seen footage shows the New Jersey Governor falling out of a chair last June during a visit to the WIP Morning Show.
In a video clip of the fall, the Governor tries to take a seat in a roller chair at the station, opposite radio show host Angelo Cataldi.
But in an ill timed move, the chair rolls back just as the Republican tries to settle in.
Christie is seen falling back on the floor and an aide rushes over to embarrassed politician to resolve the chair issue.

(21,925 posts)I know that I should know better, but I can't help laughing when I see someone taking a prat fall in front of me. It's a reaction stronger than me I can't control. Christie took it well and fell on a well-padded area of his body. Even though I hate his toxic rhetoric and ideas, I don't want him to get hurt.

(45,274 posts)Remember when Poppy bush threw up on the lap of the person next to him & took a dive at some fancy affair in (iirc) Japan? When the press got hold of it, they kept replaying it like the Dean Scream of years later. That's when I began to wonder if some sort of media fix was in for Clinton.
Clinton had his own vulnerabilities during the '92 campaign with respect to rumors of prior affairs, but they never really caught fire except among the right-wingers of the time.

(8,879 posts)progressive friends line up to shit on mine and people like us with similar body types. A hearty fuck you to those making fat jokes. But I know it will likely never stop. We're just too easy a target, and who wants to defend a person who is disgustingly fat anyway, am I right? You people who engage in this make me sick. But, I guess that's a good thing. It's hard to eat when you're sick - maybe it'll help us to lose weight.
