MEDEA BENJAMIN: In the name of the people of Chile, in the name of the people of Vietnam, in the name of the people of East Timor, in the name of people of Cambodia, in the name of the people of Laos.

AMY GOODMAN: Senator John McCain lashed out at the protesters and called on the Capitol Hill Police to remove them.

SEN. JOHN McCAIN: I’ve been a member of this committee for many years, and I have never seen anything as disgraceful and outrageous and despicable as the last demonstration that just took place about—you know, you’re going to have to shut up, or I’m going to have you arrested. … Get out of here, you low-life scum.

The lawless government of the U.S. is despicable.

Warmongers receive Nobel Peace prizes while the anti war protesters are arrested and called low life scum.

The government of the U.S. is so corrupt and fucked up I don't know if it can be salvaged.

Given John McCain's VP pick during his quest for the Presidency, he obviously likes certain low life scum, like Sarah Palin for example. Maybe he just does not like articulate low life scum like Medea Benjamin.

I'm glad people like Code Pink are around to make sure that the world doesn't forget what that monster has done. The fact that people in our government listen to Kissenger's advice about anything is nauseating.
