It shouldn’t have taken GOP 6 years to see how foolish Sarah Palin is

http://newpittsburghcourieronline.com/2015/02/01/it-shouldnt-have-taken-the-right-6-years-to-see-how-foolish-sarah-palin-is/

Feb 1, 2015 By Michael Arceneaux

On Wednesday, the Washington Post asked Senator John McCain (R-AZ) how would his former running mate, Sarah Palin (pictured), do if she decides to run for president? The man who has long thought himself a maverick gave a very polite and undoubtedly politically safe answer, “She’s very interesting. And I’m sure she’d do great.”

Do great at what exactly?

At drawing attention to herself? I’ll give the former Alaskan governor credit when it’s due: Palin has nearly Kardashian-like precision when it comes to garnering media attention.

As for everything else that comes with a presidential race – the campaigning, the political speeches, the media appearances outside of the safety net that is FOX News that would be required of her, and the actually winning of primaries – ha, ha, ha.

FULL story at link.

Palin, on the other hand, does NOT come from money and in turn, forces her shtick upon the public out of necessity to pay for her leveraged lifestyle.

Quayle was.

But compared to Palin, Quayle was a genius. She had a lack of intelligence that IMO was unique among presidential and vice-presidential candidates in American history.

The word salad didn't bother them while they were hypnotized by her looks, they don't listen much to what any woman has to say. All they heard were catch phrases and buzz words they recognized from Pox News. She was the whole package to them: gams, gawd, and gunz.

Her problem now is that pesky 4th "G," Grandma. Turning 50 is the great leveler for man traps who got everywhere on their looks. Hormones and surgery will only delay the inevitable and for less than a decade.

The ugliness in her soul is most definitely showing on her face. I commented in a related thread that sneering and snarling will do that to you, and Palin is a master of the derisive sneer.

The Republican Party dropped Palin soon after the election.
It is only FOX and America's need for comedy during hard times keeping her alive.

They either wise up in matter of weeks or months and head for the hills or wind up marrying that person, to the dismay of said friends.

This was no different, and I am sure all the reichwing men championing her had more Sparklemoose porn fantasies running through their heads than they've had hot dinners.

But all that means is that Repukes are dumb and we already knew that.

of a video from several years back of some recheck's clearly visible erection while he was getting his picture taken with her during a public appearance. Truly hilarious on one level, but it also showed pretty much the whole basis of her "appeal".

I think neither she nor Gramps McBombs have ever gotten over losing, especially to one of "those" people. And their bitterness has only fueled their continued craziness these past several years.

Perhaps we should wonder why we're losing to her Party, the GOP and to Cruz, McConnell, Boehner, Scott Walker, Rick Scott, Jeff Inhoff, Chris Christy and others, especially after the greatest financial crisis in 75 years, relentless plundering of public services and resources and the sharp decline of the middle and working classes. I fail to see any interest in her; the Palin phenom was well over, even before the expose film, 'Game Change".

I think, however, she ended up being a useful idiot for riling up the Tea Party masses and "sticking it" to President Obama and agitating liberals (a more politically palatable Rush Limbaugh- though he had his day in the sun back in the 1990's). Her usefulness, however, appears to be at an end and Republicans/conservatives are just realizing, amazingly, that it is HER, not President Obama who is out of her element, lacks substance, and, apparently, can't function well without a teleprompter.

on that last point!

We all derided Palin for that "Palinism".
Now it's 2015. The slogan is now "drill and frack, drill and frack", and we're all so pleased by the super low prices, an oil/gas glut and a price war. Super!

So tell me, all. What's the difference? What, really, is the difference?
