(82,849 posts)Will the Democrats press this advantage, or will they let the Republicans off the hook because Boehner has a sad? I'm not overlooking what will almost inevitably happen, that the popular media will try to paint the Democrats as real meanies for calling the Republicans out (GOP misogyny will get a pass, as usual). Can the Democrats ignore the Beltway criticism and stick to doing what's right?
There are indeed differences between the parties, and this is supposed to be one of them. Don't apologize, Democrats, for treating women as fully participating citizens in our society.
