3. f*ck the NYP. The only things it's good for are amusing headlines, sports and fish wrap.

as a NY'er I do have to give them props for their headlines.

so I'll give them a pass on that particular point.

Sigh, I'm old enough to remember when the Post was a decent newspaper.

What a juvenile, shallow, spiteful piece of drek. Brought on, methinks, because Brian Williams, A JOURNALIST, was ignominiously dealt with, and Jon Stewart departed "with a 21-gun salute from the media, his path strewn with roses and teardrops."

Funny thing - I do not love Glenn Greenwald, not do I hate him, he has, IMO, let us know about some things we would not have known about, and was vilified, IMO, because some of the things he wrote about happened while Obama is President. Anyway, when Christopher Hitchens died, and many of us acknowledged that Hitchens believed in some mighty bad things, like the Iraq war, he also had some very funny and intelligent things to say about many other subjects. And so some of us remembered the good and funny stuff, fondly. Greenwald was mightily pissed off, IIRC, because he felt Hitchens should not have been eulogized one damned little bit.

First time I've heard the name 'Kyle Smith', but he's obviously an offended RW'er who loves some Fox 'Fair and Balanced', and was horrified that it should be pointed out that many of those pillorying Williams for his inaccurate statements of past personal actions were the same people who repeated Cheney lies endlessly to help get us into war, and never apologized for any of their inaccurate statements that helped lead to thousands of dead Americans, tens of thousands of maimed ones, and hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi people, not to mention, oh yeah, creating the power vacuum that let ISIS take over large swathes of Iraq.

But the left was correct about the intelligence being rigged, and no amount of conservative revisionist history or slamming Jon Stewart will ever change it. Own it, New York Post!

...to Smith's article and then I googled him and followed some other links and then clicked on a link down-thread that took me to an article he wrote where he savages waiters. The strange thing is...I couldn't manage to finish a single one of them. They all seem to go on for a few beats too long without really saying all that much. They're like those Saturday Night Lives skits that should be about half as long as they are. And he takes himself much more seriously than the SNL cast.

And after googling him and seeing a few pictures, I have to say that this guys looks as though he's never been laid. EVER.
