The truth about the Gulf oil spill.

Be sure to watch this weeks episodes of the Ed Schultz show on MSNBC. We met with Ed and his producers and let them interview several of our BP Gulf oil spill. Ed was shocked that even he did not know that BP has been lying about everything. Most victims have yet to be paid and BP sprayed the Corexit to sink the oil out of sight, knowing the harm to the sea life it would cause. Must see!

Most aired on local TV stations in cities around the Gulf.

And most of the victims have yet to see the first dime.

None of the media outlets are willing to risk killing the goose that keeps laying golden eggs. The victims don't normally get heard from because no local stories get written or filmed. BP even buys up the documentaries for millions to keep the truth out.
They sprayed the Corexit, or better yet, they had the Coast Guard spray it for them, to sink the oil out of sight. Corexit doesn't disperse more than it solidifies and condenses. That crap is still out there killing and sterilizing the fish and sea life and no way to clean it up until a storm washes big mats of it in along with smaller pieces. The tarballs contain deadly bacteria, the seafood industry is on the ropes and our USDA inspectors use a smell test to determine if it is safe or not. A smell test!
The litigation suffers from a conflict of interest in the form of the $660,000,000 million the Plaintiff's Steering Committee (PSC) gets from BP if and when the Class Settlement makes it through without being overturned. The PSC has a vested interest in keeping a deal together despite the Class Settlement denying 75% of the victims claims. The Medical Class Settlement has been going for the last year. BP pays a firm 2 million a month to oversee this settlement and they have paid out a whopping $188,000 to date!

If one company can do this in America, just imagine how much money is affecting our politics. It is hard to imagine the scale of what they can accomplish, or the depths to which they will sink.

They dropped 7,000,000 documents on us that they had a 100 lawyers redacting. The problem for them was that when, for example, the plant manager would send an email out to everyone, they would give us everyone on the emails copy of that one email. Some might redact almost the whole email, but others would barely redact anything, so we could always put it all together. Should have seen their attorney's face at the hearing on the Motion to Compel BP to produce permit applications for a specific time frame. We had requested they produce any permits for filed with the TCEQ for a period of time. They answered back in writing that there were none. At the hearing their attorney was asking for sanctions against us for asking for something that did not exist. When my boss held up a BP permit application that had been filed which was clearly fraudulent and said that we had the permit, we just didnt get the attachment it refers to! BP's attorney turned purple and look like his head would explode. He tried to deny that it had been filed or that there was no attachment. The judge just looked at him and said "three minutes ago the application didn't exist!" They later had to plead to a felony over that, lifting the damage cap. Our client, who lost both her mom and dad, now had the sky as a limit as far as what a jury could award her. When it settled at 4 a.m. the morning of trial, my boss's last demand was that BP's corporate attorney, the man who had private investigators follow us all around and take pictures of us and our families, and worse, have teams of investigators follow this poor young lady who lost her parents 24/7/365, take off his clothes (except underware) in front of dozens of his underlings, and jump into their swanky hotel pool!
We started 4 trials because everytime they would make an offer to a trial plaintiff, my boss would guarantee the offer out of his own pocket if they would reject it so we could go to trial. Each time BP would offer so much money that my boss would tell the client that he wouldnt match it. They were just so dirty that no jury would have let them off.

It's no secret how the spill was managed, a bunch of clever campaign style inspiring speeches by Obama, a truckload of lies from BP,.........and that's about it.

keep his foot on BP'd neck. Instead, he has been silent and allowed them to lease and drill again, business as usual. Obama lied in order to sway your vote, double crossed the entire Gulf region, green lighted the perpetrator of negligent drilling practices to continue drilling so long as they spent some advertising money, (no doubt was well rewarding with a campaign contribution),.... and then in one of the most stunning display of professional campaigning ability and political savvy ..................

blamed someone else, left the problem to fester ............. and was called a hero for it, ....turned his back and was fucking carried away on the shoulders of the cheering masses, that did not yet even understand they had just been fucked over.

Hope and Change baby,....Hope...... and Change

-or-, like some will now say,...........I'm just a political troll trying to bring down Obama with a pack of lies. What the fuck do I know, maybe I'm wrong. maybe the BP spill is cleaned up just like we were told.

yes, Obama lied and fucked the Gulf,
No, Obama saved the Gulf just like he promised.

There can be only one.

They may be worse though because they never campaign on what they do in office, or they wouldn't get elected. They bring shame & hypocrisy to the Democratic Party. They hurt the US, because lets face it, we need progressive policies now more than ever & its not happening.

"corporate Dems", "moderate Dems", "centrist" Dems = Republicans (D)

And the rethug party is coming around on gay marriage, slowly. so at some point, we won't even have "social issues" like this to separate the 2 parties.

ie
"Message From a Pro Gay Marriage Heterosexual Republican"

But anyone who lives along the Gulf Coast can tell you that while there are times when our sugar white beaches are normal..pristine...there are also times when ugly blobs of oil laden tar balls and mats come rolling in at the shoreline with the waves. I am not talking a few years ago. I mean now. If you saw the ads paid for by BP you would think everything had been restored to its former, pre-spill state. But there were teams of workers sent to the beach to pick up and beach comb for the blobs of tar balls/mats. For months they were there every day. Now they are sent down there when someone reports a sighting of the tar balls. Locals get concerned every time there is a tropical storm or hurricane that the large mats that reside on the bottom of the Gulf will get ripped loose and brought in with the storm. Fortunately, this area has been spared a major hit since Ivan in 2004, but the fear of the mats coming ashore every time there is a storm threat is real. Time will tell if that happens, but the regular appearance of smaller mats is a reality.

BP lied and many of the hotels and businesses went along with the lie to try to lure tourists back and apparently it worked since Trip Advisor just rated Pensacola Beach # 5 on its list of Best beaches in the US. So the guys cleaning up the tar balls are doing their job. What they don't clean is the water where people swim and play. No one is talking too much about whether the water or seafood that comes out of that water is really safe.

get paid a dime. These workers were promised two years of work at good pay so people quit good jobs to do it. 95% were let go after two months when the media moved on!
