Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s offered to change her position on marijuana for donor's approval

http://www.politico.com/story/2015/02/debbie-wasserman-schultz-medical-marijuana-115338.html

Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s office offered to change her position on medical marijuana if a major Florida donor recanted his withering criticism of her, according to emails obtained by POLITICO.

The proposal to Orlando trial lawyer John Morgan was straightforward: retract critical statements he made to a reporter in return for Wasserman Schultz publicly backing his cannabis initiative that she had trashed just months earlier. Morgan declined the offer with a sharp email reply sent to a go-between, who described the congresswoman as being in a “tizzy.”

The only unusual thing is that someone was sloppy enough to use a more or less permanent medium for the quid pro quo offer and that the recipient of the offer revealed it publicly.

They ignore family members being rewarded with essentially no-show jobs.

Former appointed and elected pols are rewarded with Board seats on the corporations that benefited from their previous decisions.

The last election cost 2 billion dollars which was essentially bribes to the media for coverage.

Decisions, laws and trade agreements are made in private and then covered up with security clearance requirements.

Former CEO's, lawyers and board members of corporations that do billions in business with the government end up running those agencies after elections, and then returning to their jobs to collect their bonuses for ''government service.''

Everyone is bugged.

Citizens may now be kidnapped, murdered and no responsibility need be taken for the deed.

- Yet I am constantly amused at the incredulity of those who are amazed that there can be corrupt politicians in this corrupt system and corrupt government we have.

Geeze people, wake up!

Because "D".
She would just be another DINO in the Senate.
Increasingly difficult to see why anyone would say things will get better if we just keep voting for Third-Way types of candidates.
No, things will get to be just how the Third Way wants them, which is not my Democratic Party any more.

How much would it cost to have you come out in opposition to Immigration Reform?

What price do you put on a Progressive Tax?

If there was money behind it, what political position is so abhorrent that you would not take it?

Does anyone understand what I've been shouting about for the last couple years. Something about Principles missing in far too many of our politicians?

The criticism wasn't just from one donor, it was from the majority of the party that wants legalization, not more prison cells filled with people doing 10 year mandatory minimum sentences because they got caught smoking a joint.

We have had enough of the destruction of people's lives and rights just so some for-profit prison, Big Pharm, Big Beer, Big Ag scumbags can exploit the people for more $$$$$$$.

We have had enough of seeing babies with seizures suffer, seeing veterans with PTSD suffer, seeing cancer patients unable to eat or feel good, knowing all of these people can have their pain alleviated with this mild, safe plant.

It boggles the mind that in 2015, anti-science, anti-intellectual, freedom-HATING people like Wasserman Schultz are even taken seriously.

With all of the pain, lack of appetite, bad dreams, flashbacks and anxiety I suffer, it's good to know Wasserman Schultz will let people like me ease my suffering as long as she gets a personal favor out of the deal.

FUCK YOU Debbie Downer.
