sniper movies and shit

I saw American Sniper. Good movie, not a great movie. Certainly wasn't some big political statement. And It was nowhere near as good as this, as far as sniper movies go.

4. Indeed.

A friend compared it to bringing your live-in lover home to visit your parents and trying to have sex quietly in the guest bedroom.

3. Enjoyed that movie immensly

In fact, it even prompted me to study my history of the war on the Eastern front.
Never miss it when it's on.

6. Bob Hoskins was great as Nikita Khrushchev.

Worth the price of admission just there. The killing of the boys was a particularly stunning parallel. Thanks for pointing out this movie, which was in many ways far superior and I suspect more historically accurate than American Sniper.
