because I plan to watch it and it was the only watch option.

I don't like to get my information second-hand ... though I do appreciate the commentary, afterwards; but first wish to hear it for myself.

there will be the various exploding heads and sensational headlines afterwards. followed by the new news cycle that will wring ever ounce of "controversy" out of the speech for weeks to come.

the speech is just the preliminary to the main event of media sensationalism.

so why watch the speech when it will be completely reinterpreted time and time again until the actual speech itself will be complete lost to the political winds of stupidity whether you agree with it or not.

and frankly, I don't care for the man.
