Idiot Films Himself Shooting Sign Against North Carolina’s Gay Marriage Ban

Have you heard about North Carolina's Amendment 1? Like California's Proposition 8, this measure would amend the state constitution to define marriage as being between one man and one woman — but it would also ban gay civil unions and domestic partnerships.

Today Joe My God posted this video of brilliant political commentary from a trigger-happy asshole with a YouTube account, in which the man fires a gun at his neighbor's "Vote Against Amendment One" sign. Hey, if you can't shoot gay people directly, might as well shoot signs supporting LGBT rights.

3. I really have to wonder........

(1) Are these people that are so obsessed with same-gender relationships using this issue as a means to unleash anger and frustration and opportunities lost, the plight of so many Americans when it comes to social and financial mobility? OR

(2) Do these people have personal issues with same-sex attractions? I swear many of the most rabid anti-gay voices have been revealed to have engaged in same-sex relations (e.g. Ted Haggard) OR

(3) They really believe this because "the Bible told me so" but they (a) fail to understand the biblical statements are out of context, mis-translated and inapplicable to the modern world (b) turn a blind eye to all the other proscriptions like not shaving, having relations with their woman when she is having her period, eating shellfish, wearing a garment made of more than one type of fiber.

They are really a queer lot and I mean queer and not QUEER!!!!
