Yes i think the format of the Daily Show wouldn't allow long form work that Oliver is

given it's a basic cable channel. Isn't it crazy that in the U.S. you can't get useful news analysis on TV unless you're watching a comedy show? Even prime time MSNBC focuses more often on the horse races of politics than news that helps us.
