I Don't Think Willard Even Remembered/Knew About Carter's Failed Rescue Mission

I think he made that remark simply because he went for the usual GOP whipping boy when it comes to "horrible" presidents, ie: Jimmy Carter. It's part of the coded language they use. "Even history's monster of a president would have made the same call."

Now, he's stuck with it, because the press has pointed out that Carter DID make that call, but that things went badly. Mitt can hardly turn around and say he wasn't referring to the failed rescue mission, because that would show him to be an ignorant panderer who was crassly using President Carter's good name as a RW shorthand.

and quite possibly never knew the event even occurred. Another "entitled" asshole who doesn't think they need be bothered with learning about the world around them.

how the fuck did he graduate from HArvard ? oh, same as Bush wasn't it ?

i use to assume Romney had some intelligence, maybe a George Will type or something. but he isn't even that.

Romney is far more like Bush than a GEorge Will, Richard Lugar etc types.

I also think it made him look even more like a fool. The media kept bringing up that Cater did make the hard decision and it didn't work out, making Obama's decision even harder, knowing how the past turned out..Ha Ha Romney...it helps to know what you are talking about...

The last Republican President knew O bin Laden was there and did *not* make the allegedly "slam-dunk" call to send in American troops.

We don't even have to speculate on whether "any President" would make that call. It is already a matter of historical fact that one President chose *not* to make that call.

he didn't mean JC, he mean BC.

And then the media can remind him of black hawk down.
