I did MIRT the very first 2 terms, skipped a year or two and did it again. I'm a little further left than many so I don't sign up that often. I figure if I hit it every few years I can help get a few others have missed.

The thing I found really interesting is how hard everyone works together to make group decisions on banning. In this kind of place where it's kind of like herding cats I wouldn't have expected such teamwork but it always seems to come together. It can be a time-consuming venture though!

They can hide behind a proxy server (spoofing) or be a hacker. MIRT is the team that has the horrible duty of taking out the trash. Many times that trash falls into a replicator and ends up back here over and over. Same trash, different IP address.

Think of it as if you could just change your mailing address on a whim. People have to hunt down your new address and by that time you already have a new one.
