The more the GOP whined about it the more press coverage it got. And the more coverage it got the worse they looked and the better President Obama looked.

That was a classic screw up of biblical proportions by the GOP.

I would say there is a chance President Obama could go ahead in the polls right now and never get behind again after this fiasco.
