In condemning the Republicans' active attempts to sabotage America's foreign policy and weaken the nation overseas, President Obama said yesterday...
"I think it's somewhat ironic to see some members for Congress wanting to make common cause with the hard-liners in Iran. It's an unusual coalition," Obama said, according to CNN.
No, Mr President, it is neither ironic nor unusual for one group of insane religious zealots hellbent on bringing on a conflagration of holy wars to ally its efforts with another insane group of religious zealots hellbent on unleashing the dogs of war. They are perfectly suited allies, united in their hatred of peace and reconciliation.
the only real difference is that one group worships God, and the other group worships the Koch Brothers

(3,412 posts)Obama, should have the just get a grand jury, for at least five of the senators,
if indicted, they should be arrested and book to stand trial. If convicted, the
Government should offer a plea deal, that forces them to leave their seats or
go to jail, The rest should be told if they don't step down or will charges made
against them
Obama need to do the right thing!!

Are there no safeguards for what is clearly a rogue group that is no longer working for this country or its citizens? They may as well move to Israel, they are working for Bibi and the warmongering oligarchs. It is insanity, and to excuse it away as irony...just indicates how bad things truly are.
Looks like the SHTF is ok, business as usual. Looking forward, not back.

(3,919 posts)but, it is more his way of dis-empowering their attack on him by throwing them off. he is very much zeroed in on the exact intent of the 47 traitors of our nation.
those fools do not have the responsibility of the entire nation on their shoulders when they lay their heads to rest at night. they will never and could never fulfill president barak obama's strength and high character.
