The concept works to shorten winter days. Shit, even in Chicago, we have long light summer days, and there aren't many places on the map that have shorter light days year around than Chicago.

people here who are saying they love it are really making the case against it, because they are saying they hate moving the clocks back in the fall.

Just scrap it in the Spring and there's no such thing as DST or ST. Poof! "Summer hours" all year 'round.
