The "It's OK if you're a Republican" distinction?

I mean, really--they are coming across as so petty. All of them--born with silver foots in their mouths!

That's how he made his name and his fame. Then he married Campbell Brown--I can't imagine what insanity possessed that young woman--it was as though she exchanged vows with a rusty anchor. Could she have been so stupid that she didn't see the gravy train going off the tracks?

Eh, stupidity--it's not a crime, but it certainly is its own punishment!

9/11 was Bush's failure, catching bin laden was Obama's success. I know it's very "divisive" to point both of those things out.

You're supposed to delay the arrival of an aircraft carrier by an extra day, position the carrier so it doesn't show how close to land it really is, get the major media to play along with the landing stunt on the pretext that your photo op cum speech for the ages actually matters, prance around on the flight deck as something you're not, then give a premature self-congratulatory speech under a banner that you come to regret, and blame the banner as well as every other carefully choreographed maneuver on everyone else when people have had a chance to review the whole magilla.

So yeah, a distinction between a premature congratulation and running on one's record of something actually done.

from re-joining their families for a full 24 hours, just so he could have his little "Mission Accomplished" moment.
As the son of a career Naval officer, and one who as a kid welcomed my Dad home on piers from NAS Alameda to NAS Oceana, let me say once again ... FUCK YOU George W. Bush!

The Bush administration was the most blatantly political White House we've ever seen. Everything was viewed as a potential photo op and who can forget the events that were photo-shopped to look more patriotic. It was "Wag the Dog" in real life.

Someone should put all of them together into one book, as there are far too many for any of us to recall and the world should never forget what they did.

and the old GOP tricks just weren't working anymore. Of course, their favorite one was using an opponent's strength against him/her, but it really getting very old. I think they've hit the bottom of their trick bag and they're trying to recycle the same old crap. They have a major imagination deficiency.

Using innocent victims is wrong.
Celebrating the death of the mass murderer who killed them is not.
