Bibi Uses Congress For Campaign

On the eve of the Israeli elections, it looks like the hardline undermining asswipe known as Benjamin Netanyahu will be going down in defeat. I wrote a story about Bibi and his trip to Washington that didn't produce the result he was looking for.

Enjoy!

Looks like we were right about Netanyahu.

A lot of people in the political sphere said that if Benjamin Netanyahu came to the U.S. and did his speech before Congress, the footage would be used in a campaign ad. Besides not wanting to be second guessed on his foreign policy decisions by another world leader, the main reason President Obama did not want Netanyahu to come and speak before Congress was that is was too close to the elections in Israel. That’s why Obama did not meet with Netanyahu when he came out, because it is a policy of the U.S. not to appear to endorse a candidate of an election in a foreign country.

Netanyahu insisted his motivation had nothing to do with the elections. The timing of his speech had to do with the urgency of his warning about nuclear negotiations with Iran. According to Bibi, Iran has been close to developing a nuclear weapon for the past 20 years. Every year Netanyahu says that the following year is the one where Iran will wipe Israel off the map and blow up the world.
Of course, there’s no evidence of this. His own intelligence agency Mossad said that Iran does not have the capability to produce a nuclear weapon and are not even close to developing one. But Bibi insists they are. Any year now.

So Netanyahu said that it was urgent that he immediately address the U.S. Congress and the American people to warn them of this imminent threat and if he had to insult a U.S. president and undermine Israel’s biggest supporter to do it, by golly he would do what he had to do. The fact that his speech was scheduled two weeks before his reelection vote was merely a coincidence. A tsufal.

But most intelligent people saw through Bibi’s little ploy. Netanyahu, along with his U.S backers and supporters like Sheldon Adelson knew that the speech before Congress would be the perfect opportunity gather footage to put in a campaign ad so he would be reelected. It had nothing to do with the Iranian nuclear threat that Netanyahu has been warning about for the past 20 years.

Guess what happened?
