How many universes has he created?

Does he know from experience what is easy to do and what is hard?

He seems to honestly believe that he can tell what is and is not possible (and even easy) in universe creation technology that our species has yet to master.

Like him, I have my own suspicions, which run somewhat counter to his.

I suspect that by the time our species masters universe creation technology, we'll find it very difficult to micromanage our newly created universes once they have been created.

It's one thing to create universes, but it's another thing entirely to play Maxwell's Demon inside them once they have been created.

Playing Maxwell's Demon within a universe seems to me to be a much more difficult problem than creating a universe in the first place.

Never played Minecraft, though, so I don't know how it works.

I'm guessing that I'd do worse.

Any God that can answer an infinite number of prayers 27 * 7 can handle the mere physics of Universe creation. Allowing the misery of innocents has no excuse.
