Just an update on Aaron Schock's House seat

IL-18 (Peoria-Springfield) is a Solid Republican district (PVI R+18). Not a prayer of picking it up in a by-election.

The people here were not that fond of him. The nicest things they said about him is that he was a RINO, the worst were ugly jokes about his sexuality. I have no illusions at all that a Democrat can ever win this seat. People in my area would like to see Jil Tracy (our former Illinois House representative who ran as Dillard's running mate in the primary) run.
