Funny, but I DO NOT RECALL MSNBC's Chris Jansing discussing the bullshit behind the BUSH job numbers

She's on right now, trying to position the upcoming jobs report...with positive numbers...as so much smoke and mirrors. She had Hilda Solis on, and they discussed a Website that's been set up for student summer jobs, and Jansing said "We looked at the Website and only saw ten jobs for the state of New York."

Now, I'm not saying that there hasn't been any book-cooking on the numbers, or that the job site for students isn't thin on jobs.

I just remember Mitch McConnell's better half, Elaine Chow, making similar appearances on cable news, and all I saw was cable news "personalities" blowing soft, wet kisses in her direction.

the corporate media is biased towards the interests of the rich, tax cuts and "austerity", so they generally underplay economic suffering, and so they are not as skeptical as they should be about government numbers.
