(37,364 posts)the hashtag on Twitter of #TedCruzCampaignSlogans in anticipation of mocking his impending announcement. I posted the info from the tweet that sent me there in my OP. The guy just isn't too bright. Mouthy, yes. but not bright. You should read the stuff on that hashtag list.
BTW it is coming up on 4 am here.

(4,571 posts)the man just because he's a creep. he's intelligent. He graduated cum laude from Princeton and magna cum laude from Harvard Law.
I don't like alan dershowitz, but he's not stupid:
Referring to Cruz's time as a student at Harvard Law, Professor Alan Dershowitz said, "Cruz was off-the-charts brilliant."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Cruz
What cruz is is something else:
During high school, Cruz participated in a Houston-based group called the Free Market Education Foundation where he learned about free-market economic philosophers such as Milton Friedman, Friedrich Hayek, Frédéric Bastiat and Ludwig von Mises.[29] The program was run by Rolland Storey and Cruz entered the program at the age of 13.
Cruz met his wife while working on the George W. Bush presidential campaign of 2000. She is currently head of the Southwest Region in the Investment Management Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and previously worked in the White House for Condoleezza Rice and in New York as an investment banker.

He's a high-level operative, trained practically from the womb. But not stupid.

(3,919 posts)the brilliance to a discernible level... that is all. it's obvious to many who value common sense and a sense of humanity for others over brilliance. but, you are correct - the maniacal aspects of his persona should not be underestimated.

(24,365 posts)He appeals to enough of the dipshit/nimrod base to succeed there.
But once it becomes clear what a whackadoodle his dad is, not to mention ol' Tedster himself, it will be a walkover for the Democratic nominee.
No matter who it is.

(25,183 posts)Someone beat him to buying his own name as a domain name, with the express purpose of embarassing him should he announce his candidacy for President, as he's doing today.
In any case, our efforts here should propel this website to the top of the search engine results for a few days, especially if we make repeat trips.

First, there's no exploratory committee?
And now, no web site? This is fricking hilarious.
This guy is so many flavors of stupid, its embarrassing.
It's quite obvious this guy has no planning skills, just a big mouth. Let's see how far this takes him.
And he wants to be president?
OMG, I'm still laughing.

I hope they don't continue to just use it for one-line snipes. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
I really hope he gets the nomination. It'll be easier to focus on his lack of qualifications and crazy policy positions.
