What does , "living your life with purpose and grace" mean to you?

This is posted here to avoid thread drift on another thread.

A person posted about living life according to the above dictum.

My goal is to make my encounters with every person, a positive encounter. I succeed in this when i am mindful of the goal. This means that most of the time, I fail.

What does it mean to you?

I suppose it's possible to use the terms in a secular way, but rare indeed.

That I've got a good marriage and good husband. Two great kids. A future son-in-law who I actually like a lot. A kid with a band with a great new album. Four cats and a dog who all get along. Friends, and new family. Health, sobriety, life in a blue state, Jerry Brown as governor, all the good things. Older, sure, but not quite broken down and feeble yet. God yes but religion no. Organized religion and religious dictates really don't figure in there.

And birdies! For the third year in a row!!! I may already be a grandmother again - cuz based on past years, I strongly suspect there are eggs in there now (last week of April we'll know for sure cuz that's when they've hatched in the last two years running)!

And on edit - forgot one very essential thing to survival of life on this planet: chocolate.
