If Lugar gets teabagged out of the Indiana GOOP primary, who will be the Dem candidate for his seat?
I have a feeling that the teabaggers will not do as well in the generals as they are doing now, in the primaries.
To be sure, a few of them will win in the batshit crazy places, but overall, I see them doing less well than last time. I think there's some serious buyers remorse out there. I think the do-nothing GOOPer congress will be a drag on them. I think women's issues will come back to haunt them. I think Ryan's intent to kill Medicare will scare people away.
So, as the old guard falls to the teabaggers, who are we running? Any chance we can actually win a few of these seats?
