Love it. More! FL Republicans sound off against Jeb Bush & Koch Bros & Americans for Prosperity.

I love it. I want to hear Democrats sounding like this....instead of whining like NY Assembly Democrats did as they caved on ed issues.

Here is FL Senator (R) Nancy Detert putting an Americans for Prosperity in his place.

Published on Apr 2, 2015

Florida State Senator Nancy C. Detert (R) humiliates Americans for Prosperity lobbyist during a committee testimony on providing incentives for the film industry, saying "you're all on the Koch Brothers' payroll" and "you people serve absolutely no purpose."

And Senator Tom Lee had some very tough words for Jeb Bush and his education foundation.

Senators pass testing bill -- and tell us how they really feel about the system

"There's too much damn testing going on in this state," said Senate Budget Chairman Tom Lee, R-Brandon.

Sen. Alan Hays, R-Umatilla, described the system as both a "monster" and a "train wreck."

Other lawmakers defended the system and, in subtle ways, Bush himself.

Lee had some words for Bush's Foundation for Florida's Future, which he said opposed the amendment: "I'm over you."

"The reason you've lost my confidence is because I've got emails from you last night that said that you're so married to this system that you don't have a shred of common sense left," he said
.

Which he probably did. For the moment I am impressed with Nancy Detert. Catch the part when he told her they did not share their donor data. She said oh you're not transparent? She said to much laughter they could change that.

and most (not all) are quite sane. The once Grand Old Party has just been hijacked by its crazy base. Nice to see people repudiating the crazier positions, and particularly nice to see Koch funded organizations not just rolling over everyone with an R behind their name.

that the family kept confined so he wouldn't hurt himself or do something rash to another member of the family, whose ravings were simply dismissed as lunatic material. Used to be. Now, the clown-car crazies are considered Presidential material. You won't find any of these dingdongs sequestered in the attic. You'll find them out in the open, on the campaign trail.

Not sure why. But it's not normal...it's just plain weird. When GOP starts talking out against their own...you know it's time for our own party to do it even more loudly.

If the Republicans are going to form a circular firing squad, make sure Dave and Charlie Koch are in the center.

Rick Scott beat Jeb's puppet and seat warmer for Governor. Rick is planning to be Senator, by working with Koch and the Tea Party, so he actually has reason to slit Jeb's achilles heels. The Koches have a better puppet in Scott than Bush, so it is time to send Jeb to their glue factory

And thus, the servants of the Devil, no matter how rich they become or how high they soar, sooner or later have to shamble into the corral known as "Hell", where they will get as good as they gave

Where this may lead, if anywhere, can't be predicted, but this is the first crack in the armor I have seen.
