I honestly don't know the particulars. I found out about it because I also follow Glenn Greenwald, who called her "one of this generation's greatest heroes." Jake Tapper is also following her, so I'm thinking the account is legit

6. I've been following her and she follows me. I hope she gets millions of followers. It is yet another

crime that she, not the war criminals she helped expose, is in prison.

But we are going through a very dark period where the bad guys are living in luxury and the good guys are being persecuted.

Not the first time in history that this has happened.

Hopefully it won't take as long as it sometimes has historically, to right these wrongs.

7. Just realized, this is a new account. There is a Chelsea Manning account, maybe run by a friend.

This is apparently one she can personally access.

She already has 21,000 followers. Pretty impressive so far.

Nice that she acknowledges the people who have consistently supported her.

She never should have been arrested. She should have been a witness in the Trials of Bush/Cheney and the rest of the War Criminals who are still, shamefully, loose in this world.
