A loyal Republican who was deserted by the party to which she and her husband gave most of their lives.
A courageous woman who bucked the aforementioned party to actually speak at the opposite party convention.
A serious smoker who admitted on Larry King that she still could not completely quit even after a lung cancer diagnosis.
A caretaker to a beloved spouse for many, many years.
She had a life filled with laughter and promise until a delusional young man easily got a gun ... and used it.
