Personally I think they are all trying to one-up each other in an effort to get sued. Once a case is working, they can ride it to the Supreme Court and try to overturn Roe v. Wade once and for all.

Or at least before Scalia strokes out and a second-term Obama gets to replace him. Once that happens, it's game over.

And they got blocked too...what is it with these halfwit assholes? Let's see it is unconstitutional and against the rules in one state but let's try it in all the others?? The sheer stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

I kept trying to argue that it's Scott Walker with Rick Scott a close second but Jan Brewer may have easily eclipsed everyone else in the country.

Is it an election year for her?

I can't understand how a woman would try to eliminate an organization whose main goal is preventive and pre-natal health and counseling for women. Not even all of their centers provide abortion services.

The over 90% of services Pabst Smears and breast cancer screenings don't matter to her? It's okay if her fellow women get cancer or don't have it detected early enough to treat it so they can survive?

bank accounts. These asshats governor's, were put in their positions, by the powerful right wing evangelicals and corporate overlord's. Any church who pushes their spiritual or moral agenda into politics, should lose their tax exempt status.
They are not pro -life, only rabid anti abortion.

Just once I’d like to see a real journalist ask one of those pro-birth jackasses why the hell it is so important for children to be born if they don’t want to do a fucking thing for them once they’re on the planet. We were all fetuses at one time, yet now we don’t deserve healthcare.

It was blocked by a federal district court judge and was appealed by the state to the 7th Circuit, where it is still pending. All part of a coordinated effort by wingnuts across the country. I'm sure they will all end up before the wingnut Supreme Court eventually, where the crazy people stand pretty good odds of prevailing.
