What an incredibly awesome day!

Two amazing speeches by President Obama (and Michelle, too) which were the most contemporary and progressive campaign speeches by a President that I've seen in my lifetime. I'd put these opening salvos of our Democratic campaign on a par with Franklin Delano Roosevelt's first inaugural address. There is so much substance and direction in Barack Obama's remarks that we can take forward in our advocacy and activism; in this election, and beyond. He spoke to us as our leader; as a teacher; as an organizer; and as a fellow American. I'm looking forward with pride and optimism to following President Obama's campaign for re-election to victory -- and to the ultimate advancement of our Democratic agenda!

Sucks to be Mitt Rmoney.

I still love that my iPad has supplanted Romney with Rmoney.

leader; as a teacher; as an organizer; and as a fellow American---yes, this is what a real leader is supposed to be.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what he will do now that he knows the real story with the pukes

He's not running to win the election, he's running to win the agenda.

Rather than pivoting to the center he is trying to get the country to sign on to going forward on a progressive tact.

Fired up and ready to go.

This is auguring to be a transformational campaign . . . that's the hope, when all is said and done. Interesting, tho . . . we do usually see a 'pivot' to the center. It doesn't appear to be the case this time.
