I like what Obama has done in negotiating inspection of Iranian nukes BUT...

If Obama is serious why is he not fighting the attempt to make Chuck Schumer minority leader in the Senate? Schumer is aligned to AIPAC. He will do everything in his power to kill the treaty

14. what veto? obama needs a majority in the senate to ratify a treaty

first, overriding a veto requires 2/3rds opposing the president in both chambers.
second, it only applies to legislation congress wants to pass over the president's objections.
it doesn't apply to treaties, which require majority vote in the senate only, and it doesn't apply to legislation the president wants to pass.

They had nuke power and the damn things blew sky-high, polluting the world. I don't think allowing anyone else a nuke plant is a good idea, do you?

including much more dangerous middle eastern countries like Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Anyway that doesn't answer my question unless you are suggesting Obama is bullshitting us.

There is no way to control the waste, and yes, Obama has let nukes slide, even greased the slide a bit, like many before him.

They sure have enough material.

The world has 100% too many nuke weapons, eh? Good for Obama to try and make it zero.

You see, the legislative branch is a coequal branch of Government. They do not work for the President.

to go to bat for leaders that will respect his policies. The idea that the democrats should not listen to or respect the Democratic President is silly. How did Johnson influence the passage Civil Rights legislation?
