She is in her 60s and she is not a young starlet chosen for her looks.

In all the pictures, she looks healthy, focused and intelligent. I actually like the photo chosen better than any of your alternatives. Not to mention, I think all of them are old. Two have long hair - something she changed over 2 years ago and the middle one, I think is the one on her book - so it is likely over a year old. (Consider the comments had she used a photo over a year old)

I like her better with the shorter hair. We are close to the same age. I have always had long straight fine blond hair.
This year my girlfriends started campaigning to get me to cut it because I was too "old" for it.

I've had a ton of compliments and had to reluctantly admit the girls were right.

She just appears more put together with a hairdo that looks like it has purpose. And not a 'do' that looks like she hasn't had enough time to get to the hair dresser.
