Pim Fortuyn - Anti-Muslim immigration politician in the Netherlands, assassinated 2002.

The former Norwegian Prime Minister, Gro Harlem Brundtland, narrowly missed being killed by far right nut case Anders Breivik in his Utoya Island rampage last year, in which he murdered 69 people, mostly children. Breivik had explained to the court hearing his trial that he planned to behead Mrs. Brundtland and kill all 500 kids attending the Labor Party camp.
