Kinloch is a city with empty lots and burned out buildings. Less 500 people live in the town that sits in the shadow of Lambert St. Louis International Airport.
Thats where a man drives a K-9 vehicle, equipped with lights and sirens. The vehicle also includes a mounted laptop computer and recording equipment. It belongs to Ramont Manuel, a man who even wears a body camera. He`s not a licensed police officer.
...No one from Kinloch will answer any questions, beyond sending a letter saying Manuel is not impersonating an officer. The city attorney wrote that Manuel is a court marshal employed for two years.

Seeing a couple of topics over this town has got me looking into it a bit more... And it's pretty fucking sad, but at this point I can't help but laugh at how corrupt this town is.

(111,359 posts)that dirty money has been changing hands regularly for decades and that a new mayor who is not part of the long standing good ole boy/girl network is a great risk for blowing it sky high.
Something about this town stinks to high heaven, and it's not just the stench of racism.

(3,015 posts)People are saying racism, but looking over things the history doesn't match up.
The previous 2 mayors are black, the recently arrested Kennith Conway having served since 99, as is the city attorney who served the bogus voter fraud papers in a attempt to prevent Betty from taking office. They are all male, so if someone wanted to say that it's sexism then I'd be willing to put stock into that - At least then the makeup of the previous leadership would seem to allude to such.
Could be I'm missing something from it, but right now I'm at a dead end having just been able to put Conways election date as 1999, but from what I've come across so far it looks to be your standard plays by corrupt city officials trying to maintain power by any means.
