General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe TPP is already indisputably bad
for the democratic party. It's created an ugly schism between Congress and the President, and between traditional democratic allies and the President. It's already an election issue and it won't be going away. It will be unpopular with a wide swath of the voting public, but it's going to be very difficult, for obvious reasons, to use it against republicans.

Maybe his ties are so close with the Bush family
he thinks this will accomplish just that.

(45,984 posts)It's not as if President Obama wants a Republican to be our next president. It's as if he has become our present Republican president.
It you don't think so, why is McConnell supporting him and Senators Warren, Brown and Sanders opposing him?

(22,336 posts)There's so much ridiculous stuff said about President Obama lately. Of course he doesn't want a Republican president. He obviously feels like the TPP is good for America. I am allergic to anything "free trade" but he has a different opinion. He isn't a Republican, he just as a different opinion about what is best for America than many of us have.

(45,984 posts)Are you ready to hit the streets against the TPP?
Are you ready to boycott any corporation that brings a case to the ISDS, for any reason?
Are you ready stop playing charades, and vote those playing it out of office?
