4. The problem is that some of them infringe on the rights to property, making a living and private.

Prime example the Hobby Lobby. Another one is Gates himself. Look up what his neighbors thought of his compound as it was being built. Other complaints are shown here:

But you may not want to take that tack with the RWNJ. They will surely ascribe jealousy, sloth and a desire to steal as the root of your political philosophy. They have never seen a problem with any kind of profit, even if they say they are against the sex trade, etc.

You might explain what changes the accumulation of wealth in a few hands is doing to this country. They drive up the cost of housing and keep the wages down of others who it was not their right to oppress (see Bible). They don't pay their taxes (render unto Caesar) and have no allegiance to this country or its people.

That is the problem. Other than that, I'd say fine and dandy. But that's not what the reality is on the ground. Conservatives pick out verses in the Bible that support their views on the wealthy, since they believe in trickle down. It's more like take a leak on others.

They leave out those that show the responsibilty of the wealthy, that others helped them with their wealth, especially with subsidies and corporate tas breaks and waivers. Of course they can slip than under the rug of them being the job creators. They have, since Randian philosophy (See Koch) has come to dominate the right, worn blinders.

Because the purpose of these firms are no longer to provide jobs or see to real needs ina community they claim to be part of. Not, they will privatize and steal tax money in order to feather their own nest and say it's all glorious and makes for a smaller government. I cannot by definition, do such a thing. The tax payers still pay, but they have no way to regulate or stop fraud unless it's very noticeable.

Eventually, leaving the wealthy untaxed it leads to feudalism by treating them as aristocrats. In such systems, 'the shortage is divide amongst the peasants' and the rich get their without using any of the character traits your RWNJ may be expousing. Look at the rich and famous who break every law and are untouchable. Such as it was in the days of old.

They have supported policies that are dumbing down the majority by removing science, education and the essential service the Commons provide - networking. So that the choices of others are reduced by their having so much money. It is not a neutral situation.

6. It just all comes down to taxes.

When public education and infrastructure suffer just so billionaires can have more money to hide away it is destructive.
If the wealthy are taxed fairly and keep the country that made them rich running as it should, it is fine.
During the Eisenhower administration, millionaires were paying up to 90% in taxes and we had what was called "The Affluent Society.
It's not how much you are taxed… it is how much you have left after taxes and too many wealthy people are just hiding away their money and it doesn't help anyone.
That is the problem with income inequality in America today.

7. The key phrase with these types is "I couldn't care less" it applies to most situations.

When you manage to have any conversation with conservatives you must realize they operate in the first person. Empathy, compassion, caring is an alien concept for them. Added to their egocentric perspective whatever is wrong belongs to "you" at that point the fault is yours, they really do care but have run out of words to explain their displeasure.

A real life example of RW duologue :

I hate all Socialist.

But you work and are payed by State Funds you have you Government retirement you must benefit from Socialist Programs.

Response: "I could not care less about Social Security."

At that point all observations are at an end.

its in their thought processes.....and can not have reasoned debate or discussion..........like explaining color to the color blind........their entire make up is pretty much twisted. Easy to see how Germany was enamored with Hitler and the Nazis right up to the end....the fear, hate and bigotry is easily exploited

12. It doesn't bother me that someone becomes a billionaire as a result of a good idea.
Mon Apr 27, 2015, 07:06 AM

What bothers me is when a billionaire buys some congressional representatives to make sure they don't have to contribute any of their dollars to the betterment of society. Greed bothers me. A lack of compassion bothers me. I hate to read about some megawealthy woman paying $20,000 for a handbag when there are hungry kids in this country. I hate CEOs who make a hundred million dollars a year based upon their ability to outsource jobs and hurt American workers. The money isn't bad, it's some of the people who have it.
