Wow, conservative site likes Sanders, he will challenge Hillary on Wall Street. Alternative to Bush!
(seems like they don't want another Bush either. It is too much to ask them to vote for a Clinton, and now there is an alternative!)
Hillary Clinton is getting a Democrat challenger — and he’s coming at her from the far left. Check it out: Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, a self-proclaimed social democrat, is set to announce his candidacy for the White House on Thursday, The Huffington Post reports. Sanders, while not a declared Democrat, caucuses with the party in the Senate and is planning to make his run in its presidential primary. The Vermont senator has strongly criticized Clinton for having a “soft” attitude towards Wall Street and being insufficiently concerned with the economic issues dear to the liberal base. 1. Some here have said that Conservatives will praise Sanders only because they think Sanders will
be easier to beat than Clinton. Just to get that out of the way. I think that so very many conservatives - not the 1%ers, but the ones who vote against their own best interests, dislike HRC so much that they will turn out in droves.

11. Well you can bury you head in the sand if you like...
But the fact is Sanders will be a "Democrat" challenger as he will seek the Democrat nomination and has vowed not to run as a spoiler. If he does not receive the Democrat nominination, I believe he is a man of his word and will leave the race.
Just out of curiosity, why do you have a problem with that? |

12. NO, DemocratIC is the way one says it if they are not attempting to highlight RAT
which is a known, intentional campaign started by a rightwing prick

14. You know what? I'm a LIBeral and Democrat.
I could give a rat's tail how anybody else uses the words, but I am proud to be both and have been for going on forty years.
You can be offended and scared of how other people use words if it suits you, but I won't spend one minute of MY life worrying about such a meaningless action. BTW, you didn't indicate how you feel about Sanders' candidacy, which is actually the subject if the OP, not how some RWers use words. |

6. It would be in the GOP favor to be able to run against Bernie rather than Hillary,
they don't want to run against Hillary. I would bet Rush would start suggesting Bernie gets support.
As far as Bernie running to the left of Hillary, for me it tooooo far left. |

9. Conservative, Independent or liberal: All should seriously consider supporting Sanders
There are many conservative minded people who are tired of the Banks, Wall Street and other corporate interests running -or perhaps I should say ruining - this country. Senator Sanders is the first credible presidential prospect in years who favors the drastic change necessary to return this government to the people. I have also heard from conservatives who are hurting under our corporate economy and they are considering Sanders because a Sanders Presidency might, for once, involve reshuffling the economic deck which has been stacked against working Americans. Although I may disagree with these Sander's conservatives on social issues and other matters, I welcome them in our fight against corporatism via a Sanders candacy for President.

13. This seems to be a neutral article, that merely mentions a Sanders candidacy
I'm not seeing any "liking" here
![]() That said, when Sanders speaks the TRUTH, I fully expect it to win over some conservatives. I'm already seeing it happen on Facebook. |

The link you posted was neutral until you get to the site comments. Definitely no positive opinions in those.
