(41,118 posts)keeps up the coverage so more people can hear what he has to say, and the truth of our problems.
His ideas for help are broad and critical;
Awareness, movement building, effective leadership, practical action for more jobs, stop outsourcing, end damaging foreign trade deals, make college & job training affordable, start US based infrastructure work, build green economy jobs and eliminate obscene $ in politics, and more!
He's so right that there are grave issues facing us that have built up for decades and that threaten our democracy like we have not seen since The Great Depression, as he said. Experienced, smart, dedicated, passionate and a fighter for the people and the US. He is a rare force and we are very lucky!

(41,118 posts)and credit card debt is also on Bernie's radar as is dealing with tax breaks and offshoring funds for the wealthiest.
As a former mayor, Bernie Sanders recommends serious changes in policing practices in Baltimore and other areas of the US to combat racism and police brutality. Much needed, overdue creation of jobs to elevate people of color and others out of increasing US poverty are part of a huge undertaking that has stalled.
Whether devastated post-industrial urban centers or semi rural ghost communities, programs and policies must be initiated to revitalize and restore dignity and life for Americans and our communities.

(41,118 posts)American communities and how rebuilding and removing poverty in many areas both urban and rural depends on education, job opportunity and police reforms.
He is direct on how Banks which are 'Too Big to Fail' now hold more than 50% of all mortgages and 2/3rds of credit card debt in the US and something has to be done.
We are facing crises as large as those during The Great Depression in America when unemployment was 25% and 50% in some communities.
When Bernie states, "enough is enough" people are beginning understand why and how we need a new political revolution to recover democracy in this country from control by oligarchy power and corporate control.
Hurrah Bernie, America's Senator and populist for the People.
