I'm afraid Hillary's candidacy will result in defeat for us due to "death by a thousand cuts."

Today it's simply "gee, she's had some questionable dealings."

By November of 2016 we'll know who each and every one of the donors to the Clinton Foundation are/were, what their financial and political standing was BEFORE their contribution, and what their financial and political standing was AFTER their contribution.

552 days from today. Five hundred and fifty-two fucking days.

1. She's already withstood ...

... (and survived) a million cuts over the decades. Since she first became "known" to the public as First Lady of Arkansas, then First Lady of a nation, then Senator, then Sec of State, she has lived in a fishbowl, has weathered countless political storms - and she's still standing.

I know that the RW (and some others who claim to be Dems) are hoping for the worst - hoping that something that ruins her will finally stick. Hoping against hope that EmailGate, FoundationGate, or the 2,417th investigation into Banghazi-Benghazi-Benhazi will ultimately hit pay dirt.

"By November of 2016 we'll know who each and every one of the donors to the Clinton Foundation are/were, what their financial and political standing was BEFORE their contribution, and what their financial and political standing was AFTER their contribution."

... your implication being that there actually is a "there" there, and it's just a matter of time (by November 2016) that we'll all KNOW what went on here - and it won't be pretty.

Like I said, some people are hoping against hope.

BTW, your concern in this regard is duly noted.

will be facing the same scrutiny, and I have no doubt that their donors, not just to some foundation, but to their political campaigns, will be eye opening to a lot of voters also.

And all this does is emphasize the corrosive effect of money in politics.

Which is why, if Bernie can make it a huge issue, which is doing btw, and always has, it will resonate with the people on all sides of the political spectrum.

I'm hoping he gets lots of free media time, because he won't be able to pay for it that's for sure. But he can shame them into keeping him in front of the public as much as any of the corporate funded candidates.

Get the money out of politics. One of the most important issues in this campaign.

Breathe. Relax. Go to a ballgame and have a hotdog. It's getting warm in the evenings -- go out and look at the stars, and planets (really cool with binoculars). Or, take the kids on a nice springtime nature adventure.

There are so many things to stress about other than the concerns in this OP, and many more excuses and methods by which one can cast off that stress.

Peace, my friend.

After all, as you wrote, it's 552 days. I would feel bad if folks were hyperventilating that long.

My best to you.

It's noise. It's what people say when they have nothing of substance. No one cares about your tired excuses. Even the anti-Hillary crowd is sick of it.
