Going to Krugman's weekday column and reading his blog is one of my great pleasures. I don't understand all of his charts but when he's less wonkish he's just delightful.

blogging. Elsewhere I read that he does the blog as an extra. It's not a requirement as a columnist. He does it on his own time, so t speak. I like to read his column in the NYT and then go to his blog online.

the West from the GOP. I will miss him terribly.

(63,899 posts)4. I think he just retired from teaching full time...I think he has some time to go on his
contract with the NYT as one of their columnists. Plus, he'll probably produce more books. His wife is his editor and they work well together. I saw her interviewed and she is delightful and also an economist. She's also a very pretty African American woman...was his former student...
