Disgraced former Army officer and one-term ex-congressman Allen West (R-Crazytown) is at it again.
Looks as though his website's pushing the claim that Freddie Gray had a pre-existing spinal injury due to supposedly having major spinal surgery the week before his fatal arrest. As of today, that claim is still up on West's website.

Problem is, that claim was quickly debunked soon after it appeared on Facebook feeds and third rate fake "news" websites everywhere.

West's website seems to acknowledge the Baltimore Sun's debunking of the rumor but has refused to remove the story, thus allowing the truth to continued to be muddied by uninformed folks.
Frankly, I'm surprised Allen West hasn't been more prominent in the media about the Gray matter. After all, the guy is something of an expert about prisoners being abused while in custody.
