(9,462 posts)any investigation should stay away from the media except for informational press conferences, and that is only when there is new information to report.
Lately the officials involved in police misconduct charges have released info publicly in an attempt to sway public opinion. I disagreed with it then, and I disagree with it now. While I trust Mrs. Mosby to not start arguing the case, I think a self-imposed ban on ALL communications from prosecutors would be a good idea.

(32,609 posts)Nice insult. She has a name.
The prosecution should be doing press given all the leaks (lies) the past two days from the police. I assume you thought those lies/leaks were okay.

(1,488 posts)Is she not a woman? Is she not going after press?
What are you offended by?

She's not "out for some press." She's out for some JUSTICE.
And she's gonna get some, too.

(10,952 posts)Did she expect the reaction that has made about her.
No. She is just doing her job like she would for any case. She has had some other high profile cases where she had to have press conferences.
How planned out was the conference?
From the start she put together a team. They were thorough, parallel with the police department. Viewing tapes, out on the scene.
Do you feel like you have learned lessons from other high profile cases?
No. She is just a different prosecutor. Her approach is different. What she does has an impact on the community.

(10,952 posts)She talked about all her family members who are are/have been police officers (including both her parents).
Is she prepared for any backlash that might come to her office?
Her office is independent and she will do her job. This was a thorough investigation and applied the law to the facts.
He asked her about the call for a Special Prosecutor.
She stated. There is no accountability with a SP. She was voted to do her job throughout her district with for justice.
What happens if cops start not showing up when she needs them to testify?
You hold them accountable. The FOP also contributed to her campaign, not just Grey's family.
Cops have mentioned to Chris that cops giving suspects hard rides is the norm if you make them run after you.

(10,952 posts)Do you feel comfortable with the evidence that these 6 officers have provided to you on other cases?
She can't comment on that.
It sounds like if the cops in Baltimore act up that is not going to be tolerated.
Does Baltimore prosecute to many cases?
She listed the number of the different types of cases and it was a lot.
235 murder cases.

(10,952 posts)After the interview, Chris Hayes indicated that he thinks that she will be a very tough prosecutor.
I don't think that she was wrong to give the interview because it seemed to serve more to let people know more about her and he seemed to focus more on the repercussions of the anticipated prosecution.
She may only be 35 years old but she handled herself very well, very smart, very articulate. I think that she will be more then capable of holding her own through this whole process.
I saw that the mug shots of the 6 cops have been released.
