Texas Governor Deploys National Guard To Stave Off Obama Takeover

Since General Sam Houston executed his famous retreat to glory to defeat the superior forces of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, Texas has been ground zero for military training. We have so many military bases in the Lone Star State we could practically attack Russia.

So when rookie Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced he was ordering the Texas National Guard to monitor a Navy SEAL/Green Beret joint training exercise, which was taking place in Texas and several other states, everybody here looked up from their iPhones. What?

It seems there is concern among some folks that this so-called training maneuver is just a cover story. What's really going on? President Obama is about to use Special Forces to put Texas under martial law.

Let's walk over by the fence where nobody can hear us, and I'll tell you the story...

ON EDIT: This just in: Ted Cruz joins the idiocy:

Ted Cruz ‘reached out to the Pentagon’ about martial law conspiracy theory

By Emma Margolin

Depending on whom you ask, “Jade Helm 15” is either a domestic military training exercise or a covert operation for the federal government to take over the state of Texas – and 2016 presidential candidate Ted Cruz just became the latest Republican to fan the flames of the latter theory.

And the rest of this story is at MSNBC

At least we've got the Chinese troops staged across the border in Mexico to help with rounding up the wingnuts for the FEMA camps. And once martial law is declared Obama will be President life! Muahahahahaha!

has been pumping this into the minds of the gullible since before 2002, or Y2K when civilization was going to end. Papa Paul keeps giving his prediction of America's complete economic collapse and MartialLaw©. There latest deadline is September of this year. These are the SFB types that put Cruz in office. Jones is an admitted Bircher and also a Libertarian. But he says that he knows TheTruth©. Before anyone thinks its' harmless, read the latest SPLC report:

His principal venues are “The Alex Jones Show,” which has approximately 2 million weekly listeners and is nationally syndicated on about 60 radio stations, and two conspiracy-themed websites, InfoWars.com (Alexa rank 330) and PrisonPlanet.com (Alexa rank 3,237).

They are in every state, people are voting against all taxes (back in the 1990s he claimed the IRS was illegal) and he's only gotten worse. His films and there are many of them free on youtube have also been shown in movie theaters. He's definitely got backers somewhere, I suspect Koch influence. Working it from boths sides, right and left. Because both can find something to get them excited. He also has a world wide audience and he's bigger than some admit.

Yeah, I can see Cruz and Abbott singing his song. There are a lot of benighed souls inTexas who have been completely turned around by this guy. This is where this comes from, and it's gospel to varied groups, especially among the young.

My "Independent" (low-information) Bush-voting sister in Texas is incredibly embarrassed by the repubs in her state. She said most people in Dallas think Abbott is nuts...She can't stand Hillary, but yesterday she told me on our weekly call that she saw "this new guy" Bernie talk on the news, & she liked what he had to say quite a bit.

Knock me over with a feather!

I hope they keep doing crazy shit like this. Bring it on wingers, all over the country!
