Do public interest groups and environmental organizations just hate President Obama?

Why are most public interest groups and environmental organizations opposed to the TPP? Hate for the President? Just trying to get donations (yes, someone suggested this to me)?

Based on the leaked Environment, Intellectual Property (released 2014) and Investment (leaked 2015) Chapters of the TPP, public interest groups and environmental organizations have issued specific concerns detailing why they are so opposed to it.

The White House says they're full of shit and the TPP is great for the environment, consumers, workers, etc, They've got this simple (minded) chart up which is, when read carefully and put up side by side with opposing analysis, less than convincing.

So why on earth are these organizations- labor as well- out to get a Democratic President who many of them endorsed?

Or just maybe, they're concerns are well founded.

Occam's Razor.

1. Does Obama hate the environment and the public?

Why would he support something that would destroy the environment and hurt people? I'm just asking. I really don't know the answer. Obama is either a simpleton who shouldn't be in the Oval Office due to serious brain deficits at not being able to see clearly what all those organizations and all those people you mention can easily see about the TPP, or he's a maniac who is bent on poisoning the environment and harming people all over the world. What other possible answer could there be? By the way, I personally don't think Obama is stupid, nor do I think he's a maniac, but that's just me. Hmm.

3. Or just maybe, they mistakenly think that TPP is bad for consumers, workers, and the environment.

(Before applying Occam's razor in defense of a particular hypothesis, you should be sure you have considered all of the available hypotheses.)

I really have no idea whether "their concerns are well-founded." Links so I could easily find the statements that have been issued that detail why public interest groups and environmental organizations are against TPP would be much appreciated, but I realize I could also get off my butt and do more research on the issue myself. The Obama peeps have been shamefully dishonest in promoting TPP (recall the bogus 650,000 new jobs nonsense that they pulled out of their asses); so it is difficult to take their statements seriously. But I am not prepared to take the word of environmental and labor and other public interest groups either.

who still love the President. I am loyal if nothing else, and am waiting for more to come out and hear a good long debate on the whole issue.

If I don't get the good long debate, I still won't dislike a president who did more for womens' rights, gay rights, gave us a blueprint for universal health care (which will come someday), tries diplomacy instead of war, and a lot of little things important to not too many people.

I'm a sucker for good speeches, especially by people who can also sing and dance who have a fabulous smile.
