I'm constantly confronting stuff in my own head that I
have somehow downloaded from the purveyors of misinformation.

Some of this stuff is SO OLD and still affects me. But one of
my favorite life experiences is when I learn that something I
totally believe is utterly wrong.

I have yet to hear a good argument why one prefer Hillary other than "she can raise lots of money and that's the only way to beat Republicans." Boo! But posing as a "supporter" and then throwing around some of the worst smears imaginable is seriously twisted.

This is a person who experienced his family members killed in the holocaust when he was a child but now he's some kind of white supremacist?

Brooklyn-raised Sanders was born to a Polish Jewish immigrant father whose family was mostly wiped out during the Holocaust, and a mother who was the daughter of Polish Jewish immigrants, according to a 2007 New York Times profile. Sanders’ version of socialism is rooted in 20th-century Jewish-American leftist politics, which organized for better working conditions and wages, equality for women, and civil rights for African-Americans, among other causes.

http://www.religionnews.com/2015/04/29/5-faith-facts-bernie-sanders-unabashedly-irreligious/

Trying to libel a person as a sexist racist is a pretty serious charge. Libeling someone who has a long track record of fighting harder than anyone for social justice and taking his knocks and being made fun of because of it is just despicable. It is a disgusting tactic and I expect to see more of it because there is no other way to attack him.

so I don't know if this has been discussed, but what about Bernie's age? I believe if he were to win he would be 75, which is even older than Reagan was when he assumed office. Given the enormous pressures on this office and how rapidly Presidents age while serving, is anyone concerned that Bernie might not not even survive one term?

Tue May 5, 2015, 09:57 AM

i hope bernie supporters will start monitoring rw radio for him so the swiftboating will not go unanswered.

as long as the billionaires' think tanks can take free potshots at him 24/7 from 1000 radio stations the left cannot honestly say it's "getting bernie's back".

anyone who thinks it won't make a difference is an idiot. and there are students/faculty/employees/communities around 90 major universities that want to support him while their efforts are undone by those same universities. those would be great places to protest for bernie. and without those school mascots to help them sell advertising many of those stations would go broke or have to change format.

until the left stops giving rw radio a free speech free ride guys like bernie won't have a chance. that unchallenged nationally coordinated buzz is the major tool they have used to shift the political spectrum right and turn socialism=bad, conservatism=good. and if he becomes significant they're going to make shit up about him and repeat it and it will become truth to tens of millions of americans.

here they are, with the number of rw radio/limbaugh stations they rent their sports logos to while they sell republican/fascist lies and swiftboating practically for free. most of those stations have been working for the billionaires for 25 years, creating the alternate reality bernie is fighting against.

from republiconradio.org, which also describes a way to record and transcribe what those stations are saying:

The wealthy (Goldman-Sachs for example) want to keep it that way. The Populist Candidate wants to rebuild America and the 99% to lead the world in the categories other than wealth disparity.
