The poll was commissioned by Progressive Coalition for American Jobs which is the recent group led by Obama staffers so it has an agenda. I haven no idea how reliable a pollster the Benson Strategy Group is. The poll was done in late April so it's the most recent one I've seen.

Only Democrats were polled so there is no update on republican and independents' opinions on fast track and TPP.
Since fast track is before congress now, I'm surprised that all sides are not conducting and releasing polls to support their side. I would love to see recent polls from all sides of this.

(54,770 posts)I think TPP is part of that, and I don't think most people buy into the argument that Obama is part of a conspiracy to sell us into slavery.
I'm for seeing what Obama comes up with, and if he thinks it is good enough to send to Congress. I don't think he'll send a bad agreement for a vote. But, we'll know soon enough.

(38,613 posts)Slightly off-topic: the name "Progressive Coalition for American Jobs" sounds like the kind of overly-obvious thing Luntz would come up with.
