With about 35% of the vote in the total vote in the Democratic primary is about 220,000 in a competitive Democratic primary. In the GOP primary where Walker had a token opponent and is winning 97-3, Walker is getting about 250,000 votes.
What is this telling me? That Dems can't take the recall for granted and that the GOP will be energized about getting to the polls, too.
Of course we'll have to see where these votes are coming from before drawing conclusions. There are still lots of votes to be counted, but if Walker in fact gets more vote in his primary than the combined total in the Democratic primary--It could be interpeted as a small early victory for Walker.
