I know that some states will allow bills to be presented by citizens of the state if they can get enough signatures to get it on the ballot.
I'm just wondering if it is possible to get a potential law on the ballot that would make marital infidelity a sexual offense. Or require rectal exams for Viagra prescriptions. Or some such thing that would make right-wingers a bit uncomfortable.

(685 posts)They were telling me their religious beliefs were telling them to vote for Amendment 1. With most of them being Catholic, I asked if they would vote for a similar amendment that said that once a man and woman were married that contract would be irrevocable. And you know what kind of answer I got???? ABSOLUTELY NONE! The hypocrisy of the bigots is deafening.
