My wife was asked to go for a second interview at a perspective employer but she is worried she

messed something up. She has a doctor's appointment for the time they wanted to meet her and asked if the meeting could be reschedule for 2 hours later.

She is going through a staffing agency so she is waiting on them to tell her the employer's response. She is concerned the employer would hold that against her.

Also she has never been on a second interview. So any tips would be helpful.

Tell her to relax. If they ask her back they only want to know they can get along with her. Vincardog May 2015 #1

But here is a tip. She should write down in conversational style everything she can think of that she has accomplished both professionally and personally. Make it a list of all of the good, smart things she has done. Hopefully the list is a long one. Read it and reread it before the interview.

Not only will she have tons of confidence from this exercise, she will has well formed intelligent answers to their questions.

I've given this advice to many and had many thank me for it.

Make sure she's researched the company and (if she can) the people who will be interviewing her. If she can casually mention things she knows about the company or the people she is talking to it shows interest in the company and an investment of time for which there is no direct financial reward.
